Brooke brings strong analytical and deep problem solving capabilities to her consulting assignments, having being involved in a substantial amount of review and implementation work in commercial, not for profit, public sector and peak association environments. Brooke’s consulting background is diverse having provided secretariat service in support of Government Steering Committees, Panels and Boards including but not limited to the Monash Primary School Board; the ACT Alcohol & Other Drug Implementation Committee; ACT Education Exports Steering Group and the Chief Minister’s Export Awards Judging Panel.
She has also worked cooperatively with international organisations and governments, exporting businesses, federal and state governments, industry and educational institutions to nurture and strengthen the ACT's export capabilities and to maximise the success of ACT and Capital Region exporters abroad. Broke has been highly successful in securing ongoing federal and state and territory funding for initiatives including the ACT Exporters’ Network, ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards, Trade Start Program and well as many specific educational initiatives. In addition to international trade, Brooke has also worked in across both the ACT and Australian Public Service in the portfolios of Education and Health (including the public hospital system) in policy, project, service delivery, governance and data analysis areas.
She has studied and lived in England, China and Australia and has achieved a BA Hons in East Asian Studies from the University of Sheffield in the UK and has a Diploma of Government.
