julie-anne tooth
Julie-Anne is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with a solid record of coaching at all levels. Julie-Anne is an experienced executive coach in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors with a solid record of coaching at all levels in organisations since 2005. Julie-Anne adopts both a challenging and strengths-focused approach in her coaching. She is intent on building coaching relationships that provide a supportive and reflective learning space and which ensure that her clients develop the capability for ongoing self-development and reflection that continues post the completion of the coaching engagement (i.e. become their own ‘self-coach’). This approach for successful coaching has been supported with evidence from her PhD research into executive coaching published in 2014. Julie-Anne has worked at the senior executive, C-suite levels and also with high-potentials and aspiring executives in a range of industries, including retail, transport, IT, health, professional services, science and research, education and financial services.
Julie-Anne worked in the electricity industry in the 1990’s during a period of massive reform and privatisation and undertook a project focused on developing SES leaders to meet this change. Having worked in similar organisational contexts to many of her clients, Julie-Anne brings empathy, warmth and humour, as well as a practical approach, to her work as a coach. She has been selected repeatedly for a number of coaching panels including the APSC and draws on her own decade of experience of working in the public sector for when working with clients. She provides services to a range of Commonwealth and NSW agencies and pro bono support to selected not-for-profit organisations.
