The Purpose of the Hack
The purpose of the Hack is for each Agency Team who attends to have an actionable, effective, high performance strategy that will see them achieve their chosen goal.
- Within the parameters of the Hack theme, solve a core goal for your Agency or finally resolve an outstanding challenge
- Unite and empower your leaders to strategise towards resolving your goal, using a high performance lens in a high performance environment
- Have a clear and highly effective strategy for your Agency to action back in the workplace

High Performance Lens
The term High Performance will be defined as a "mindset" at the Hack, rather than systematic or operational productivity, and will encompass;
A Growth Mindset | Self Leadership | Total Accountability | Emotional Intelligence | Resilience & Determination

The Hack Process
1. Pick your Goal
Each Agency must identify a core goal that they want to achieve, or identify a challenge that they haven't yet been able to resolve.
The Goal must sit within the broad genre of the Hack Theme- Building a High Performance Organisation of the Future, Today.
There will be some parameters set for the Goal, such as;
The goal must be humancentric i.e. the goal cannot be overtly technical or relating to a technological matter
The goal must propel new ways of thinking and should consist of an ambition as well as constraints
As part of your participation in the Hack, Yellow Edge will work with your nominated teams to help frame a suitable goal prior to the Hack.
2. Pick your Team
Hand pick a team of 4 - 6 Leaders from your Agency who will spend two powerful and productive days together as they hack their way to a solution for your specific Agency goal.
Each Team must have approval from all relevant managers at their Agency so they can effectively work towards a practical solution and strategy for their goal at the Hack. Teams will then implement that strategy once they are back in the workplace.
It is important to note that the Hack process is not an academic exercise, nor a hypothetical scenario. The intention is for the goal strategy to be actioned back in the workplace, creating tangible results and positive change at each Agency post the Hack.

EXPERT COACHES, SPEAKERS & PANELISTS
Coaches at the Hack will comprise of Yellow Edge's CEO, Andrew Simons, who has been delivering solutions for Secretaries, CEOs and Senior Executives for over 20 years, along with Yellow Edge's talent and strategy expert, Greg Cheetham.
The Hack will be peppered with guest speakers who will inspire and empower participants by sharing their own perspectives and ideas in relation to the theme of the Hack.
At the finale of Hack, each Agency team must present their Goal Strategy to an expert Panel who will provide useful and effective feedback as they review the strategy. The Panel will comprise of high performance leaders and will come from the private and public sectors.
