The Global Leadership Practices Program to China is a ground-breaking program for senior executives and leaders from ASX Listed companies and Government keen to arm themselves with privileged and invaluable insight into the workings and thinking of the Chinese central government and the Chinese business, social and economic context.
The program is presented by Yellow Edge and the China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong in Shanghai and is supported by Austrade, the Australian National University’s China Institute and the China Research Centre at the University of Technology Sydney.
The objectives of the Australia-China GLP program are to:
- To broaden personal and professional horizons so as to develop a deeper capacity to lead effectively and more strategically;
- To foster a deeper understanding of leadership in an increasingly important global economic and political powerhouse;
- To provide an understanding of forms of Chinese leadership in a manner that facilitates a deeper insight into Australian ways of leading;
- To develop a critical appreciation of leadership in a cross-cultural context, and to foster global leadership networks for Australian executive leaders.
