Types of Coaching

Peak Performance Coaching
Maintaining peak performance can be a little difficult at times. This type of coaching stems from sports psychology. All executives at times need to refresh themselves and consider how their way of maintaining this peak performance is serving them.

High Impact Leadership Coaching
Leadership and just as importantly, followership, is critical at all levels, but the more senior you are the more you impact on the culture of your group. We can talk through your biography of leadership and how you got to be the way you are - is it working for you and your followers? Are there areas of avoidance or where you want to stretch? A coach can assist in moving you forward and making your leadership meaningful to you and for others.

Issue-based Coaching
Short term coaching designed to specifically address a single presenting issue. All executives need a disinterested, third party who is invested in you and the issue facing you to assist in clarity and a productive way forward.

Career Coaching
Most of us spend weeks planning a holiday and perhaps an hour or two considering our career. Often a third party to walk you through the values you hold, the meaning of your job and where to next for your career is really valuable - even if you are more an opportunistic type career planner. Coaches help you set your goals or alternatively ensure that all career doors stay open and that you identify skills or experience gaps to ensure this stays so - whatever suits you and your needs.

Group coaching
For intact teams, group coaching ensures both an individual focus as well as building skills in each other and having the team ’singing from the same song book’. A cost effective option – sometimes called a ’strategic conversation session’.

Themed Coaching
If you would like your team or an individual to have 3-4 coaching sessions themed around a particular issue (perhaps one identified in staff or culture survey such as people management; time management; delegation etc) then this option is for you. Remember the client must want to do this!

Resettlement Coaching
This is a program of coaching when you are coming back from secondment or overseas posting and assists the executive in preparing for and re-entry into a department which may have gone through great change. The program includes involvement of a mentor within the department.

Outplacement Coaching
This is a sensitive and sometimes difficult time for clients who are going through outplacement. It is an intensive time where the coach supports and assists the client through clarifying what they want in the next stage of their life. We have experienced coaches and coach-psychologists who can assist here.

Manager As Coach
This is becoming more and more popular as executives seek to have a coaching culture within their direct reports and group. Manager As Coach builds capability within the manager for a greater range of leadership skills – including an approach which builds thinking and resolving problems and creating resourcefulness within staff whom they manage and coach. We can provide 2-hour sessions, and 1 and 2-day sessions. Training leaders with coaching skills to increase staff engagement and performance through improved communication.
